Defective product; customer service won't refund and is now ignoring me.

Really had high hopes for this product and brand overall. I did order two other items from them that I like, but this pair of leggings unfortunately did not hold up. The threads in several areas continued to unravel, and they unraveled around the waistband in a way that I couldn't cut or fix without compromising the leggings. Keep in mind, this was after only 2 months of extremely light wear and I did not do anything to the leggings to cause this. Messaged customer service and provided a few clear images as proof, but they basically said that they are a "mother/daughter company" and that they could not issue a refund as this was outside of the designated return window. While I get that and like to support small businesses, I think it's insane not to refund someone when they've provided proof that your product is clearly defective/unwearable after only *2 months* (a time when you should be able to expect that your clothing, which is basically new, will still be functional). Further, I messaged them several times to push back (both within the original thread and in a new one I opened) and have waited the appropriate amount of business days for a response -- and still haven't gotten one. The first time I pushed back, over 10 business days had passed and I still got nothing. Dear Strut This: It really looks like you're ignoring me because you've decided you shouldn't have to issue a refund solely because of your return window, and I'm disgusted by the lack of integrity and rude energy I've gotten from you. I understand this is your business and you need to make money, but at what cost? Can you really, honestly tell me you feel good about holding my money hostage knowing the product you sent me is defective and unwearable -- to not fault of my own -- and that my money has effectively gone down the drain? How greedy can you be? What about *my* money? (I'm currently unemployed and spend sparingly, but you seem to think *your* money is more important than mine.) If you had simply cooperated and done the right thing you likely could've retained me as a customer, but now I will never shop here again, and I will put negative reviews anywhere I can until this matter is resolved. I urge anyone reading this review to proceed with caution purchasing from here; if something becomes damaged just outside of the return window they'll refuse to help you and ignore your messages when you follow up. P.S. - I will be escalating the matter with the BBB. GOOD DAY. :)
